THANK YOU!

To everyone who supported my project:

I cannot thank you enough for supporting my crazy vision (and sometimes bringing me back down to earth). From brainstorming sessions to passing conversations and even support when I was feeling overwhelmed, I could not have done this project without each and every one of you.

Katey - Thank you for your faith in me, even as a young 15-year old with big dreams. Your support has helped me stick with the project for the past 2 years and carry through. I could not have done this project and developed so much as a person without the help of you and everyone involved in the shelter. Thank you also for the punny project name that I have grown to love!

Mom - Thank you for driving me to my meetings before I had a license and letting me borrow your car now. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, teaching me to sew pillowcases, helping me brainstorm, keeping my ideas to a manageable level and reminding me to breathe when I most needed it.

Mr. Vogel - Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit the shelter with me and formulate a "sort-of" plan of action. Your one visit may not seem like much, but it is a contribution that helped me formulate the full plan I have today. You helped inspire my vision.

Those who donated pillowcases - I cannot stress enough how much you helped my project by donating one pillowcase or twenty. This was a huge step for me to bring my project from an idea to reality. Without your contribution, I would not have been able to create the over 150 cat evacuation bags, supporting the safety of the animals.

Mrs. Crossley, Mrs. Freymiller, Mrs. Lasko, Mrs. McKay, and Mrs. Miracle - Thank you so much for helping me tie about 200 of my 300 knots for the cat evacuation bags. I appreciate your support, music taste, and interesting stories.

Mrs. McKinnis - Thank you for supporting my project from the documentation side. I appreciate your reminders to be thorough with my reflections and planning, as it helped me both moving forward with my project and looking back. I also appreciated our brainstorming sessions to help me come up with new ideas, while refining my aspirations to a more manageable level.

To everyone who has visited this website:

Thank you for indirectly supporting me and my cause. I urge you to share what you have learned and/or my plan with your local shelter so they can create a more safe environment too.
